Meet Meredith Chapman

VP of Sales

K. Hovnanian Homes

Meredith Chapman is a homebuilding executive, mother, and leader who has learned that being misunderstood is often the cost of being bold and she pays it willingly.

With 18 years in the homebuilding industry, Meredith serves as Vice President of Sales for K. Hovnanian Homes in the Dallas–Fort Worth market. Leadership within a publicly traded homebuilder is unlike any other career path. It is not for the faint of heart. It is not for the quiet. It demands decisive action, emotional resilience, and the courage to stand fully visible when the pressure is highest and the stakes are real.

Meredith’s success has sparked opinions, assumptions, and stories told by people who never stopped to ask. The truth is simple: nothing about her career has been accidental. Every step has been earned through grit, discipline, and relentless execution. She leads from the ground, not from the sidelines unafraid to get her heels dirty, speak directly, and take responsibility when it matters most.

Recognized as the 2022 McSam Award Winner and NAHB Silver Award Winner for Sales Manager/Leader of the Year, and named to Builder Magazine’s 40 Under 40, Meredith is known for delivering results while leading with integrity, optimism, and accountability. She sets high expectations, believes deeply in people, and creates environments where growth is demanded but support is never optional.

In addition to her executive role, Meredith has served as Chair of the Professional Women in Building Dallas Council, affiliated with the Dallas Builders Association. In this role, she championed the advancement, visibility, and development of women in an industry that often asks them to prove themselves twice. Her leadership reflects a deep commitment to lifting others as she climbs, ensuring the path forward is wider and more inclusive than the one she inherited.

Beyond her professional achievements, Meredith is a devoted mother to a beautiful 8 year old going on 18 years old little girl, Ember Monroe. Motherhood has refined her leadership grounding her in perspective, humility, and presence. It has taught her that strength is not perfection or control, but awareness, resilience, and the ability to return to center when things wobble.

Meredith leads with positivity and peace as intentional practices, not personality traits. She chooses solutions over excuses, optimism over resentment, and action over fear. Because she knows what it feels like to be misunderstood, she is deeply committed to creating space for others especially women to be seen, heard, and valued for who they truly are.

Through her work and her example, Meredith represents a modern definition of executive leadership: bold, brave, grounded, and unapologetically human.
